We love kids at NLC! When we meet for Sunday School it continues where the Children's Sermon left off and encourages kids to live their faith in the world. There will be time for discussion and a project.
We also have many outreach events for the community including Trunk or Treat, an Easter Egg Hunt, and game nights.

When: 1st Sunday of the Month

Confirmation (or affirmation of baptism) challenges youth to deepen their faith, understand the Bible better, and grow closer to God.
To facilitate these goals, Newport Lutheran uses "Narratology" for our curriculum.
"Narratology focuses on communicating the faith through a mentor-based, intergenerational, non-classroom-based approach."
We meet once a month to further discuss the topics.
