BAPTISMS

We believe baptism is the entry into a lifelong relationship with God, through the power of the Word and the sign of plain, everyday water.

Newport Lutheran Church baptizes children of all ages from birth to 100+. Pastor Sue will schedule a brief appointment with you to discuss baptism and the service.

To schedule a baptism, call the church office (651-459-2447) or email Pastor Sue. The secretary or pastor will be in contact with you. Please note, your baptism is not scheduled until you have confirmed the date with Pastor Sue.

WEDDINGS

Newport Lutheran Church’s sanctuary serves as a beautiful venue for weddings!

Pastor Sue works with the couple to help ensure the wedding is the day you always dreamed about.

FUNERALS

We are sorry for your loss, and will conduct your loved one’s funeral with respect and grace.

If you desire to hold a funeral at Newport Lutheran Church and you are working with a funeral director, they will contact us for you. If you are not working with a funeral home, please contact the church office at 651-459-2447 and talk to Pastor Sue. She will be honored to preside at your loved one’s funeral and will work hard to make it a meaningful service for you.
